State Level Consultation and Brainstroming session :     A State Level Consultation and Brainstroning session on Agro-Biodiversity was held on 12&13th November, 2018 at SAMETI Training Hall, Aizawl. The Programme was attended by representatives from FAO of United Nations, Mizoram State Biodiversity Board and State Agril. Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Mizoram. Ms.Seema Bhatt and Ms. Salini Bhutani represented FAO of Un from N.Delhi.

TOT at NIRD, Hyderabad :    Dr.Baby Zaithanpuii Hmar and Ms.Lalthasangi attended "Advance Training programme on Governance, Management, business plan for FPOs" at National Institute of Rural Development, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad during 8-12, October,2018.

Induction/Refreshers Training of Extension functionaries for Computer Programmers : 

A one day Training for Computer Programmers under ATMA was organised on 23rd October,2018 at SAMETI Training Hall,& NeGPA Lab., Aizawl. All the Computer Programmers under ATMA could attend the Training. (see photos at Gallery)

Exposure Visit for Extension Functionaries :  A Team of Extension functionaries consisting 10 members is visiting Sikkim State during 24-29th Sept. 2018. The Team will be received and hosted by SAMETI, Sikkim State during the visit. Mr. Khorle Bhutia, Principal Director cum Secretary of Agriculture and Ms.Asha Lama, Director, SAMETI, Sikkim have conveyed their greetings and Welcome to the visiting Team. Induction/Refreshers Training for Extension Functionaries(BTMs) :  The SNC(ATMA) in collaboration with SAMETI, Mizoram organised a two days Training programme on Induction/Refreshers Training for Extension Functionaries(BTMs) during 20&21st September,2018 at SAMETI Training Hall, Aizawl. The Training was inaugurated by Dr.Saithantluanga, Director of Agriculture(R&E) & SNO(ATMA). Out of 26BTMs, 24 BTMs could turn up for the Training. All 8(eight)BTMs, who have recently been appointed and joined their service also attended the training. The BTMs were sensitized on various ATMA cafetaria.

TOT Programme for Skill Training Courses :   The TOT training during 13-15th Sept.2018 at ICAR Research Complex for NEH, Umiam, Meghalaya is attended by Dr.Michael Lalramhluna, SAMETI, Mizoram on the Job Role- Organic Grower

Zonal Conference on Agril.Inputs for Rabi-2018-19 :   MOA&FW, Govt.of India, New Delhi organised  Zonal Conf. during 4-7th Sept.2018 at NASC Complex, Pusa. Mr.R.K.Nithanga, Director, SAMETI, Mizoram attended the Meeting on 7.9.2018 representing Mizoram in Extension Schemes.

Sensitization on STRY :  SAMETI, Mizoram organized "Sensitization on Skill Training of Rural Youth" on 11.9.2018 at SAMETI Training Hall, Agriculture Complex, Aizawl. Representatives from identified Training Institute viz. KVKs (Aizawl, Mamit, Serchhip) ITC (Hnahthial), MFPTRC (Seling) and Mizoram KVI attended the Programme. SAMETI released fund for 5(five) STRY programme @ Rs.42000/- each.

Coordination Committee on Skill Development Training : Dr.Baby Zaithanpuii Hmar, Faculty(PHT) attended the Coordination Committee held on 30.08.2018 at C.R.l Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi

VISITOR FROM FAO : Ms. Salini Butani, National Consultant (Agrobiodiversity) FAO of United Nation visited SAMETI, Mizoram on 5th Sept.2018 and met Director and Faculty. The discussion includes the upcoming Letter of Agreement between the two parties on coordination in Capacity Building programme under FAO-TCP

SLSC (RKVY) Meeting: The Committee Meeting of SLSC(RKVY) held on 9.8.2018 under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Govt. of Mizoram, in the presence of GOI Representative Dr.K.Monoharan, Director, Jute Dev.  and other Members approved the SEWP-2018-19 of Mizoram ATMA Scheme.

New Appointment : On the recommendation of ATMA Selection Board, the following persons are appointed for 8 (eight) vacant posts of BTM (ATMA). The appointment Order was issued on 28.8.2018.
