Training on m-extension & e-extension was held on 26th March 2019 to 28th March 2019 inaugurated by Dr H.Saithantluanga, State Nodal Officer and Director of Agriculture(R&E). The Faculties of SAMETI, Mizoram gave a participatory lecture, where candidates are formed in a distinct group and each of the group was given several task for attaining a successful training programme.

The Training topic includes :

1) ICT tools including Multi-media
2) m-extension and its applications (Mobile Apps)

3) Experience-sharing in e-extension and opportunities to be harnessed

4) Important Websites in Agriculture

5) e-nam (E-National Agri Market)

6) ERMS/EMS

7) Video production technology using mobile application

8) Kissan Call Centre and Flagship ICT initiatives of GOI

The training was concluded by a speech from RK Nithanga, Director of SAMETI, along with the distribution of training certificate.
